The Egyptian actor, Mohamed Ramadan, was subjected to a barrage of criticism after he showed a picture of him with an Israeli artist called Omer Adam, accompanied by the Emirati songwriter Hamad Al Mazrouei, which I wait to delete quickly.
In the picture, Mohammed Ramadan hugs the Israeli artist, Amir Adam, while standing to his left is Hamad Al Mazrouei, who looked elated while the photo was taken.
While the Egyptian media published the news with the image as a strange and reprehensible event, the "Israel Speaks Arabic" page, affiliated to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, celebrated the photo and said it was taken while they were in Dubai, UAE. The Israeli page also wrote: "Art always brings us together."
Al Mazrouei was the first to publish the photo, but he returned and deleted it after it was widely shared by the media and activists on communication platforms.
The Egyptian website Al-Youm said that Ramadan commented on the photo before deleting the post again, saying: “I do not care about your name, your color, nor your birth, I care about a person, even if he does not have an address, I do not know or ask about any person who imagines me or imagines with him, and I don’t ask him Based on his religion or his nationality, and our Lord created us one. ”
The most celebrated of the photo was the Israeli army spokesman, Avichai Deri, who commented on Twitter
“What a beautiful art, music and peace! The Great Egyptian Artist # Mohamed Ramadan with the brilliant Israeli artist # Omer_Adam in Dubai !!
Normalization did not change Israel's image:
An opinion poll conducted by an Israeli research center showed that the majority of the people of the Arab Gulf, especially in Saudi Arabia, still see Tel Aviv, and not Tehran, as the greatest threat to the security of the region, and a great majority expressed its negative view that has not changed towards Israel despite the agreements Recent normalization.
