"Emirates Airlines" denied the validity of recent media reports about the company freezing the activity of a Tunisian pilot named Mounem Sahib Al-Taba'a, due to his refusal to participate in a trip to Tel Aviv.
The company said, in a tweet that it posted on its Twitter account, today, Wednesday: “Emirates Airlines has not employed a pilot with this name. All information on the social networking sites is unfounded.
Social media and a number of Maghreb newspapers have previously reported that “Mounem Sahib Al Taba'a, a Tunisian pilot working for Emirates Airlines, has been suspended from his activity due to his refusal to participate in a flight to Tel Aviv.”
She added that the owner of the stamp wrote in a blog posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday: “My activity as a pilot in Emirates Airlines was suspended due to my refusal to participate in a trip to Tel Aviv .. God is only who takes care of me… I do not regret.
